Fancy Nails Anyone? Introducing the “Caviar Manicure”

The hot nail trend made it’s debut during fashion week last year at the Cushnie et Ochs show. Celebrity manicurist Patti Yankee, whose client list consist of LaLa Anthony, Towanda Braxton and Chrisette Michele among others, introduced the look to models that were featured in the show. She wanted to give their nails a texturized look, making the nails appear 3D. Since then , british nail company Ciate’ has made the 3 dimensional nail kit available for purchase and although the caviar manicure lasts for only 48 hours, it’s a fun and sexy asset to any look, especially if you love nail art. The “caviar manicure” comes in 3 shades: Rainbow, mother of pearl and black pearl and are available at Sephora for $25 a kit.
