Tyler Perry Says Diana Ross Won’t Speak To Him, “She’s been ignoring me for years…”

Apparently, Tyler Perry’s celebrity status can land him almost any black A-list entertainer in any of his films, with one exception. Wondering who it is? 68-year-old Diana-effing-Ross (real name Diana Ernestine Earle Ross). While promoting his upcoming movie, Madea’s Witness Protection, he told Essence:

“She’s been ignoring me for years…She’s the only person that I have dreamed of working with that will not return my phone calls.”

He shared that once they had a conversation, but nothing ever came up of it.

“That was it, she never called me again. She said, “No!” And that was it…You can be friends with Obama, Oprah, Trump — that is Diana Ross! So, no.”

While we have no idea why Diana ain’t feelin’ Mr. Perry, we do love that her middle name is Ernestine :)
