Vocal Cord Complications, Force R. Kelly to Cancel + Jay-Z Replaced Tupac on ‘Best of Both Worlds’

R. Kelly’s health is not in the best condition right now. The 45-year-old singer/producer was on his way to New York City Wednesday morning when he became sick and had to return to Chicago for treatment. The illness stemmed from a surgery he has on his vocal chords last year that was thought to be healing. His camp released a statement:
“[R. Kelly] is suffering from complications from surgery he had last year to treat an abscess on his vocal cords.”
Kelly was scheduled to appear on “The Jimmy Fallon Show” and “The Today Show” to promote his new album “Write Me Back”, and his new memoir, “Soulacoster.” Speaking of which, in his new book, R.Kelly shares that originally, the ‘Best of Both World’s” album was supposed to be with the late Tupac Shakur. Interesting, right?! Anywho, get well soon, Kellz!
