Meet The New Girl On Chrissy Lampkin’s Reality TV Spin Off, Talia Coles

As you know, Chrissy Lampkin and Jim Jones’ new reality TV spin-off ‘Chrissy & Mr. Jones’ airs at the end of this month. The usual suspects are on the show: Chrissy, Jimmy, Mama Jones and Emily B, but there’s a new face that’s been added to the cast. Her name is Talia Coles and we first took notice of her, after seeing her at the launch premiere of the three-some’s (Chrissy, Emily B and Talia) jacket debut. So who’s the new chick? She’s a budding R&B singer but started in the industry as a song-writer. She founded a company called Couture Music, where she’s worked with and done songs for folk like Tyler Perry, Musiq Soulchild, Teddy Riley, Slim from 112, Deborah Cox, Case, etc. She’s also dabbled in fashion, as celebrity stylist and launched Cisum Couture (“Cisum” is music backwards). In a 2010 interview with Singers Room she explained:
I use the word Couture because I’m a Fan Of “One of a Kind” so I design my music and my clothes that way… Some of my favorite designers are Yves Saint Laurent, Balmain and Alexander Mcqueen just to name a few cause trust me that list can go on and on
She’s also a celebrity stylist and is her main gig is designing original jackets for Trey Songz. So what are we going to see on the new show? We hear that most of her storyline centers around her pursuit of being the next big R&B singer. The tricky part is that she’s represented by manager and ex-boyfriend JoJo Brim, which brings a bit of drama.
