Robin Roberts Completes Chemo, Undergoes Bone Marrow Transplant

Robin Roberts’ battle with her health continues. To date, she’s experienced chemotherapy (eight days) and Thursday morning, was scheduled to undergo a bone marrow transplant at a New York City hospital. After completing chemo, she tweeted:

JUST completed chemo. Today is day of rest – positive thoughts,words & deeds. How every day should be. Love YOU from bottom of my graeful ?.

And before undergoing the transplant, GMA showed a prerecorded video message, saying:

“This journey is as much about the mind as it is the body. Thoughts are so powerful. You’ve got to change the way you think in order to change the way you feel. And let me just say this lastly, I feel the love and I thank you for it. Thank you.”
