[Video] Katt Williams Quits Stand-Up on News Station
Katt Williams (real name Micah Williams), who has stayed in the press for the last week, has decided to exit stage left. On Monday, the comedian told a Seattle TV station that he’s quitting his comedy.
“I’m just going to go ahead and announce my retirement from stand-up. I’m kind of done.”
The 41-year-old said he had planned to make a big announcement, about his retirement, back in L.A. at the offices of ICM or concert promoter LiveNation. In more randomness, he also told the station’s videographer that was going to offer $301,000 for a state ferry, so he’d have somewhere to stay in Seattle until a Thursday court date.
