NBA Baller Amar’e Stoudemire Secretly Weds Alexis Welch on 12-12-12
NBA Baller Amar’e Stoudemire and his fiance Alexis Welch made their love ‘official’. The couple used 12-12-12 to tie the knot secretly, on the roof deck of their apartment. Showing off their bling on twitter, Amar’e wrote:
12.12.12 now has a special & spiritual meaning for us…
According to reports, the ceremony was very intimate, with only 12 guests (get, 12-12-12?), including their three children and family. Now what these two wear on their special day? Alexis rocked a long, slim-fitting, custom-made wedding dress with no train, while Amar’e wore a Calvin Klein suit, with his wedding ring designed by Shayan Afshar (who also designed Alexis’ ring).
An insider tells NYPost,
“They decided to do this because of the date, and they wanted to do something spiritual and private for themselves.”
After jumping the broom, the two hit up the “12-12-12” concert at Madison Square Garden. Reportedly, the couple plan to have a bigger, tricked-out-wedding (my words, not theirs) this summer.
