Michelle Williams Supports Beyonce’s Decision to Lip Synching

Three days later, folk are still buzzing about Beyonce Knowles’s alleged Inauguration lip-synching incident. While Bey’s camp has yet to comment on the news (we highly doubt that she will, anytime soon), industry friends like Alicia Keys and Jennifer Lopez, have defended the 30-year-old singer, along with Destiny’s Child member, Michelle Williams. Peep their two cents:
Alicia Keys:
“What I do know is that Beyoncé is a great performer and she’s an incredible artist with a really, really powerful voice. The one thing that you cannot doubt is that she can sing. She absolutely can sing. All the rest of the ‘whys’ or ‘whatever,’ we know that she can deliver and she did deliver that song really beautifully.”
Michelle Williams:
“I will say this, it’s not the first or the last time that someone has had to lip-sync. My greatest singer of all time, Whitney Houston, it came to light that her anthem was in fact lip-synced… With big crowds and echoes, you know when it’s a big historical moment, you don’t want any room for any mistakes so I can understand why it was done.”
LeAnn Rimes:
“There are times when people will ask you to do it and they will not let you do it unless you do it because they want control of what happens.”
Jennifer Lopez:
“In certain venues they do pre-record things because you’re gonna have that terrible slapback.”
Welp, there ya have it.

Jasnibe, you need to re phrase it, she did not “MOUTH” the song boo, …. she actually SANG to a pre recorded track. EVERYONE does it outside and in arenas… So lets be fair. The singling out of her performance just shows how thirsty the media is to attempt to have a gotcha moment. Bey can stand upside down and belt that song out breast feeding Vlue and you bloggers know it. Cut the crap. That chick can blow.. Ahat is the keep dragging it out beating a dead horse crap? Bey did that….the shade and EXTRA-ness of it all is very odd.
