SWV Announces Reality TV Show, Says It Will Be Nothing Like ‘R&B Divas’
Our favorite 90’s group, SWV (Sisters With Voices) is joining the reality TV game. Earlier this year, the trio hinted that they may be jumping into the non-scripted TV realm. And over the weekend, Cheryl “Coko” Clemons, Leanne “Lelee” Lyons and Tamara “Taj” Johnson solidified their plans, with a message on Instagram (via Coco):
It’s OFFICIAL!!!! SWV has landed our own reality show on wetv!! Tune in if u love us & if u hate us still tune in!! Air date coming soon!!!
theJasmineBRAND.com, also chatted with them exclusively during Essence Festival. The soulful singers confirmed that fans will be seeing more of their personal life (make-ups, break-ups and all things in between), but don’t expect a bunch of drama and arguing, similar to what is seen on shows like R&B Divas (In Coko’s words, ‘We’re too old for that….’). No specific date, outside of early 2014, has been confirmed, but they did share that the name of the show will be, SWV – Sisters With Voices. The network has ordered six, one-hour episodes.

What are your thoughts about seeing SWV on reality TV? Great idea or should they focus their talents on making music?
