Tameka Raymond Shows First Photo of Son Since Pool Accident
Three days after losing her son in a pool accident, Tameka Raymond is a happy mother. This week, Usher and Tameka’s five-year-old son, Usher V was admitted to the ICU at an Atlanta hospital following a pool incident at Usher’s home. As of Thursday evening, their son was still in the hospital doing well. Earlier today, Tameka shared a photo of Usher V in his hospital bed, writing:
Im very happy this morning, my son is resting well… we had a SpongeBob marathon ALLL night, he wouldn’t go to sleep! Thank u 4 the prayers… My favorite 5 year old. What a blessing! I have always loved and appreciated my sons but tragedies and close calls make this even more evident. URV had an angel named Kile Ishmael and our Lord and true savior to look after him. Words cannot express the relief and how thankful to God I truly am. Thank you Jehovah God, Jesus and Kile????…also The AV worker that saved my son is my Hero!!! Period ?
On Friday, both Tameka and Usher will attend an emergency custody hearing. A lawyer for Tameka filed the request in Fulton County Superior Court on Tuesday, the day after the pool incident. She is seeking temporary primary custody of their two children, as well as temporary final decision-making authority regarding their education, health care, religion and extracurricular activities.
