Women of color brought their fashion A-game to BET’s annual ‘Girls Rock Event!‘ Founded by Beverly Bond, each year the event honors the accomplishments of exceptional women of color who have made outstanding contributions. This year, we caught women including Jennifer Hudson and Venus Williams (who rocked new hairstyles), Queen Latifah, Nia Long, KeKe Palmer, the cast of ‘Girlfriends’ (Jill Marie Jones, Persia White, Tracee Ellis Ross, Golden Brooks), Golden Brooks and a few other familiar faces lending their star power to the event.
