Chris Brown’s Mom Publicly Thanks Trey Songz, Singer Reportedly Receiving Psychological Counseling In Rehab
Singer Trey Songz (real name) has made it clear that he full supports his friend and music colleague, Chris Brown. Earlier this week, when the entire DC incident took place, Songz appeared at the courthouse, along with Chris family and attorney. He’s yet to make a public statement, but Chris’ mother, Joyce Hawkins, has made it known that she appreciates Trey’s support. Ms. Hawkins wrote on twitter:
THANKS @TREYSONGZ FOR BEING THERE FOR THE FAMILY WHEN YOUR SUPPORT WAS MUCH NEEDED AND APPRECIATED. THANKS FOR BEING A REAL FRIEND. LOVE U.
Adding:
TEAMBREEZY THANKS FOR ALL THE LOVE AND SUPPORT..
Meanwhile, this week, Chris checked into a California rehab facility, saying farewell to his fans with the following message:
I love you TEAM BREEZY. In order to go where u have never gone u have to be willing to go where you have never been!!!!
Updates about his well-being have been few, but reportedly, his rehab includes some serious psychological evaluation and treatment.
According to TMZ, the 24-year-old met with his new probation officer and lawyer (Mark Geragos) on Friday and he’s admitted to having a temper problem. There hasn’t been any information released about if he has a drug/substance abuse problem and whether or not that’s being treated. No official word on how long he’ll be in the rehab facility. There is still a chance that the judge could revoke Chris’ probation, resulting in him doing some time in a State prison. [Twitter, TMZ]
