Quiet on the Set! Atlanta Exes Begins Filming, Torrei Hart & Tameka Raymond Tape New Show

There’s a new reality show going down in Atlanta, the hot spot for all things non-script.

Reportedly, the new spin-off Atlanta Exes, based off the original VH1 Hollywood Exes has begun filming. Last October, theJasmineBRAND.com broke the story that Torrie Hart, Kevin Hart’s ex-wife, had joined the cast. At the time, they had not started filming but Torrei gave insight on the show’s concept. She explained:

The producers of ‘Hollywood Exes,’ we’re working with them right now. We have the cast together, fingers crossed it looks like something will be happening very soon. The cast that we put together is a very good cast and its not going to be just like ‘Hollywood Exes’ in that vain. We’re not going to be fighting. It’s gonna be wives, some ex-wives, some big players in Hollywood, real estate money managing people. It’s definitely in that vain, but we’re bringing a whole different twist to it.

At that time, she confirmed only a few members of the cast:

Tyrese’s ex-wife Norma, Miguel Nunez, Rockmond Dunbar’s ex-wife, Mara Granderson, she is a big time real estate agent, money manager, phenomenal woman….It’s six of us. It’s a great cast of women, and not just women who are using a man’s name to move your self worth, they are actually very talented and driven.

Later, we shared that Tameka Raymond (the ex-wife of Usher), Monyetta Shaw (the ex-girlfriend of NeYo) and Christina Johnson (the ex-wife of Cee Lo) were cast members.

Our sources have confirmed that last week, the show began to film the spin-off.

Torrei, who resides in California with her two children, has temporarily relocated to the Atlanta and has been spotted filming, along with other cast members.
