Oprah Invades Starbucks, Announces New Partnership With ‘Oprah Chai Tea’
Oprah Winfrey’s growing empire continues. On Wednesday (March 19th), a new partnership in the food and beverage industry was announced. Starbucks Chairman and CEO Howard Schultz and Oprah announced their new tea partnership. The announcement took place at the company’s annual shareholders meeting in Seattle. Before the announcement, Oprah shared an Instagram video, hinting of a huge announcement.
The partnership blends tea and philanthropy, literally.
Part of the proceeds benefit youth education.
Oprah shared her excitement, writing:
