Mona Scott-Young & Joseline Hernandez Caught Up In Stevie J’s Child Support Case

Earlier this year, we reported that Love & Hip Hop star, Stevie J (real name Steven Jordan) was in some legal trouble, allegedly owing one of his baby mama’s some serious cash. Reportedly, Carol Bennett (Stevie’s ex and the mother of TWO of his children), alleges that he owes more than $1 million in unpaid child support.

In February, the newly married (he and Joseline Hernandez jumped the broom in 2013) Atlanta resident was served with a subpoena suggesting that he owes her $1.28 million for the course of the last 14 years. So what’s the latest? Reportedly, business associates and colleagues have also been served with subpoenas. According to Radar Online, the subpoenas were issued by Project Child Support and are part of an effort to obtain his financial records. 

Subpoenas were reportedly issued March 17, 2014 to Joseline (Stevie J’s wife and LHHA co-star), Benzino (Stevie J’s friend and business associate, who was shot over the weekend in Boston) and Mona Scott-Young’s production company (who is partially responsible for the Love & Hip Hop franchise). Carol’s rep, Sibrena Stowe Fernandez, tells the site:

Currently, Stevie J owes more than $1 million in court ordered child support and has not made any attempt to enter into a payment plan to bring the child support current and has failed to appear in court. All of the companies that are responsible for most of Stevie J’s current income have been served.

Stevie has yet to comment on the child support case. Stevie J has five children, with four women, one of whom is LHHA’s Mimi Faust (they share a daughter named Eva). Stevie married LHHA’s Joseline in 2013.

Over the weekend, we caught Stevie visiting Benzino in the hospital.
