[WATCH] Newlywed Kandi Burrus Tells Bethenny That Mama Joyce STILL Doesn’t Like Her New Husband
Kandi Burrus is arguably the least confrontational housewife on Real Housewives of Atlanta but probably one of the more interesting cast members. The newly married reality star stopped by Bethenny’s where the talk show host inquired on her bachelorette party, Porsha William’s drama, and an update on Mama Joyce’s relationship with her new son-in-law. All smiles, the singer talked candidly on everything she was quizzed on. Check out excerpts below.

On if Porsha Williams should return to the show, after the reunion brawl with Kenya Moore:
If your going to let someone go, it shouldn’t be because of that. There have been other times where violence was had—it’s been other things that have happened that people didn’t get fired for so I don’t think it was fair to do that to her. I feel like everybody on our cast was great this year, as far as the storyline. I want to see everyone go to the next season, even Kenya [Moore]. I personally, but I don’t know how everyone else feels.
On what her bridesmaid/cast member Pheadra Parks did for her bachelorette party:
She didn’t do the norm. My friends were like ‘are we going to have another male stripper Kandi’ but this time she went totally left and made if fun. She had a little person come and do some things, an old lady come. It was out of the box, people that you wouldn’t expect to see doing something like that.
If Mama Joyce has warmed up to her son-in-law, Todd:
She’s still not giving him any credit. I’m still trying to figure it out myself. I think at this point, she went so hard, she doesn’t want to be wrong. So maybe she’s just sticking with it.
