Teyana Taylor Reunites With Fan Who Survived Battle With Cancer

Teyana Taylor has launched into the hair extension game and it’s all because of an encounter that she had with one of her fans. The 23-year-old announced on Instagram that she has partnered with My Extensionz to produce a line of extensions inspired by her notorious curls. The G.O.O.D. music artist says that after meeting one of her fans, who was battling cancer, she wanted to create her own hair line. She recounted the story on Instagram, asking for help to find the young lady behind her inspiration:

I ran into a young lady who came over to me and was like “I love you! I love your movies! I love you as an artist! And I am so in love with your hair!” We began talking, and she was still raving about my hair, and in the middle of talking; her Mom came out and said “She has cancer.” I was stunned & I cried.. She was

so strong tho it blew away. Her spirit was so warm. And just knowing all of the ailments that come from having cancer, I know one of the things that can be experienced during chemotherapy is hair loss… And with that being said She is pretty much my inspiration behind starting my hair line.. So to the young lady I met if u see this, I want to thank you & send u watever u need! 

The fan, who goes by the Instagram name @IamUniqueDesire, caught wind of Teyana’s message and posted the message below.

So I wake up from my nap, and hop on ig per usual and see this post from @teyanataylor about her new hairline being inspired by a young lady she met with cancer. I immediately called my bestfriend and my mom like ???????????? “is she talking about me ???” Omgggggg this really made my day. Can yall please tag her so she sees this ..pleaseeee! Teyana, you don’t understand how this just made me feel. I am beyond happy! Thank you so much. The cancer is gone now and I am doing better. You are so wonderful for this. Me and all my friends will definitely be supporting your hairline 

The two have since united, with  Teyana updating fans with the message:
