Tyrese Hosts ‘For Our Girls of Nigeria’ Benefit Concert: Stevie Wonder, Vin Diesel & Angela Simmons Spotted

Last night, Afrika Fifty6 held a red carpet charity event hosted by singer/actor Tyrese Gibson at Los Angeles’ 1Oak.

Proceeds raised will go to benefit UNICEF’s programs that help protect children in Nigeria. UNICEF is dedicated to providing children and their families affected by the crisis with essential services.

Performances included TGT, Stevie Wonder, Trevor Jackson, Mario and Antonique Smith. Celebrity attendees included actor Vin Disel, Ludacris, Angela Simmons, Steve Lobel, Gloria Govan and husband Matt Barnes, model Tocarra Jones and a few other familiar faces.

After the event, Tyrese shared his excitement, writing on Instagram:

TONIGHT!!!!! We went beyond the SIGN!!! Showed up to send a MESSAGE!!!!!!! Stevie Wonder showed up for#OurGirls and performed and sent a MESSAGE!!!!!!!!!! Thank you to everyone who showed up tonight…… Tonight WE SENT A MESSAGE!!!!!
