[EXCLUSIVE] Interview: Married to Medicine’s Dr. Heavenly On Submissive Controversy, Cast Drama & Joining Reality TV

he submits to me as well and we support one another. Now, is he the leader of my household? Absolutely he is because it can only be one leader, that’s the way the world goes around. If we didn’t have a President, somebody who can make the final decisions it’s going to always be chaos, so yes my husband is the leader. The thing about it is and important factor is you have to have a good man to submit to and that type of man has to pray, he has to protect, and he has to provide for the family. Without those three things a lot of people would not feel comfortable submitting to someone but he has all three.

Why she believes in consistently uplifting her husband:
Everything I do, I make sure that I first of all thank him for everything he’s done. You know, men need that inspiration, they need that uplifting and that’s why certain people on the cast, not having sex, their husbands… you got to uplift these men in order for them to feel the way they need to feel and if their not getting it from their wives they’ll go out somewhere else and get it.

If it’s common for their to be a hierarchy in the doctor world and how she felt about Dr. Jackie suggesting that an OBGYN is superior to a dentist:
Imma keep it real with you Jasmine, I think it was a very ignorant statement. I think that sometimes when people are feeling some kind of way they feel like they need to put somebody else down to make themselves feel better. Now I will tell you this, if we’re going back to the bowling alley, the only person on that side of the bowling alley that Jackie had more education than is her husband. So if she’s going to say that, what does she say to her man?
