Then AEG recently filed docs blaming Pitbull , saying the rapper agreed that AEG would not be held liable for any negligence that was caused by the rapper or any of his workers. AEG explained that per their agreement,  if the bodyguard was awarded any money from the lawsuit that Pitbull should have to pay it NOT them.

Then this week, Pitbull filed docs calling saying the lawsuit is ill found. He explains that his bodyguard stated in his original complaint that AEG assured him that the area he was in would be secured,  which he says it wasn’t. The bodyguard then had to get involved in a incident where a drunk man was assaulting a woman concert goer and then the drunk man’s entourage violently assaulted him.

The rapper also points out that his bodyguard NEVER sued him and only AEG and the security team they hired. Pitbull also says he had no responsibility to provide security for the event, noting that he isn’t taking on hiring a team to protect a massive venue and says that was AEG’s job per their deal.

He even says that AEG failed to add his company to their insurance, thus they breached the original deal NOT him. He is asking the counter-suit be dismissed and AEG be held SOLELY liable if his ex-bodyguard wins a judgement in his action.
