The videos seem comical but aren’t as many have suffered minor to severe injuries all for the sake of a couple of hits or likes to your post. Reportedly to stop the trend from spreading anymore, Facebook is deleting all #FireChallenge videos from its website.

A Youtube user, Shenna Byers posted a picture of a male lighting his arm on fire. She instructs the 11.5 thousand viewers how to participate under the video.

HAVE TO USE EITHER PERFUME OR RUBBING ALCOHOL OR SOME SORT OF ALCOHOL PRODUCT. THEN HAVE A LIGHTER HANDY. SPRAY YOUR HAND UNTIL ITS REAL MOIST THEN SET YOU HAND ON FIRE AND SEE HOW LONG YOU CAN HANDLE IT.

Another Youtube user, Sora Key posted a video titled, “Fire Challenge gone wrong.” It features a man setting his stomach on fire, but then the fire spreading.

She captions her video on a more realistic note:

These users challenge each other to see who’s more macho with their #FireChallenge as they light their chest, legs, and genitals on fire. It has garnered almost 60k views.
