[EXCLUSIVE] Spike Lee Wins Legal Victory Over George Zimmerman Tweet Lawsuit

Lee fired back at the lawsuit claiming he had already settled the issue with the couple and paid them the 10k, which released him from all liable from any future legal actions by the McClain’s.
Then on July 23rd, the Seminole County, FL judge granted Lee’s motion to dismiss and closed the case awarding the McClain’s nothing out of the 1.2 million they demanded. The judge sided with Lee due to him already settling with the couple prior to the suit being filed and thus he agreed they had no case. Read the Exclusive Court Documents.

It was Spike Lee’s fault that he “screwed up”, but it’s hard to believe that it was a 1.5 million dollar mistake. 10K seems more than reasonable.
