[EXCLUSIVE] 50 Cent Ordered to Pay Additional $ in 16.2 Million Dollar Headset Lawsuit
Rapper 50 Cent (real name Curtis Jackson) has been ordered to pay 26k for a former business partners legal bills and that now brings the total amount he owes the company to $16,208,340.26 per a court order, theJasmineBRAND.com has exclusively learned.
The 39-year-old business man has been battling the company Sleek Audio in court for over a year. 50 Cent signed on with Sleek Audio to market headphones, but the deal fell through and 50 Cent went to another company to produce his own line of headphones. Sleek sued the rapper claiming his line was basically the exact same type of headphone they were planning on producing with him. They claimed that he stole their design and used his knowledge from his time working with them. The rapper fired back suing the company accusing them of owing him over 261k on the original deal.
