[EXCLUSIVE] Mary J. Blige Accused Of Owing 1.9 MILLION Dollars Over Bank Loan
the majority of the allegations over the loan. They also stated that since Signature Bank filed the original complaint back in 2013 , they had made payments on the 2.2 million loan. Blige said in court docs she had made the payments due on the loan and she demanded the lawsuit be dismissed.
Then on August 20th, the bank fired back at the singer and claimed that her statements weren’t truthful. They claimed that Blige did make payments on the loan totaling 405k. They say that 178k of that went to the interest that has incurred and that the other 226k went towards the principal amount due.
Signature Bank is demanding that Blige pay the remaining $1,973,336.39 due on the loan immediately. They also explain that the unpaid debt is growing with interest and per day another $232.96 is added on to the balance.
