[EXCLUSIVE] Ex-NBA Star Eddy Curry – To Lose 2nd Home To Foreclosure
Curry previously lost his 9,340 sq. ft. 7 bedroom 11 bathroom & 9 fireplace mansion located in Burr Ridge, Illinois in March 2012. He purchased the home in 2006 but fell behind a total of 220k on the home payments years later and he eventually lost to foreclosure and it was recently sold off by the bank.
According to docs filed in Cook County, a woman named Christina White had a lien against Curry’s home in an attempt to collect on a 660k settlement signed by Curry after she sued him for having sex with her when she was underage. It appears Suntrust doesn’t want anybody with liens against the property to collect having listed both Christina and the federal government as defendants in the lawsuit, meaning they want to make the money off the foreclosure sale due to the money they lost on the home. Curry has yet to comment.
