Joan Rivers Laid to Rest At Star Studded Funeral
Tributes were done by Joan’s daughter Melissa, and other close friends.
The funeral program included the excerpt from her book, I Hate Everyone … Starting With Me, in which she described the star-studded send-off she wanted as well as a page with three of Rivers’ classic lines: “Can we talk?” ”Who are you wearing?” and “Because I’m a funny person.”
At the end of the memorial, bagpipers from the New York City Police Department played on the streets. The cause of death is still being investigated.
