[Pink Slip Problems] Ray Rice Loses Ravens Contract, After Disturbing Video Leaked
Following the release of the full video showing Ray Rice hitting his fiancé-now-wife—Janay Palmer—in February, the Baltimore Ravens have terminated his contract immediately.
On Monday, TMZ released the video, showing Rice hitting her in the face, knocking her into the rail of the elevator, where she laid unconscious as he stood over her. Later in the clip, he dragged her out of the elevator and onto to the floor of the hotel. Amid the public outcry, the Ravens decided to release the Superbowl champ tweeting,
The #Ravens have terminated RB Ray Rice’s contract this afternoon.

This is horrible!!! If he was a regular joe he would be in jail waiting for his trial. That wasn’t the first time he hit her, he just got caught finally. There isn’t enough money in the world that would make me marry that abuser!!!
I agree, this is horrible. Another case of Domestic Violence where a woman chose to not only stay but then turn around & marry him…why?!!!!!! This isn’t love, it’s a major problem on both behalves. Her- low self-esteem, stupidity, lack of loving thy self, being w/a NFL player (whoo-hoo), children, lifestyle or whatever the hell…nothing is worth putting up with that crap EVER. As for him, he’s done this many times for sure, so now it’s time to face the music. She is lucky he didn’t kill her already, hitting her like he was fighting a man in a ring….that is crazy. Sorry, I’m just pissed at this whole scene. Some say his punishment is extreme…I think whatever he gets is reaping what you sow (in public, cameras are everywhere) so its his own fault & it has finally caught up to him. He’ll be the one they make an example out of. She better smarten up for the sake of herself & their child or children. That is a learned behavior that tends to create a cycle in men.
And then he dragged her like a dog or peice of dirt out of the elevator…I still can’t believe this chick married him!
Hopefully she will see this video as a wake up call. You can tell this isnt the first time. I assume she married him to protect his job and not have to testify against him in court- if it went that far. Most women in abusive relationships “love” their men so much that its not a shock she chose to marry and protect him instead of leave. Hopefully he gets help or she leaves. Sad situation all the way around. Too many instances of celebrity men putting their hands on women are coming to surface.
I BET YOUR MONEY, HE WILL NO LONGER BE WITH HER AFTER ALL THIS IS SAID AND DONE. THE SAD PART IS SHE SHOULD HAVE NO LONGER BEEN WITH HIM!
