[VIDEO] Kandi Burruss & Todd Tucker: Talk Jail Bids, If Phaedra Should Divorce Apollo & Newbie Claudia Jordan
Newly married couple and stars of Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker stopped by The Breakfast Club yesterday (September 15th) to dish on their reality romance. While they have met on TV and their love is real, their family drama was and still is realer. With RHOA and then their wedding special, they had much to unload, which hosts Charlamagne and Angela Yee weren’t shy about asking. Find out what the newlyweds had to say about prenuptial agreements, new cast mates (Claudia Jordan), and Phaedra Parks and Apollo Nida’s divorce.
Breakfast Club: Why did you wait so late [for the prenup]?
Kandi: We put our wedding together in a month. It wasn’t like we had been planning the wedding for a long time. We were engaged for a year but wasn’t planning the wedding. I never thought it was going to be an issue. We had been talking about the pre-nup for a long time. I never thought it was going to be a problem, I didn’t realize it was going to be an issue.
The Breakfast Club: You’re momma still hate Todd?
Kandi: After we got married, she realized there was nothing else she can do about it so she was like alright.
The Breakfast Club: What’s the show [Hollywood Divas] about?
Todd: It’s about the journey of these black actresses. Telling that story of black actresses in Hollywood and what they go through and how they loose roles to others and theur journey.
Kandi: It’s their personal life too.
Todd: You’re going to see other sides of them too.
The Breakfast Club: Are you Phaedra cool?
Kandi: Yeah, we cool.
The Breakfast Club: Did you tell her [Pheadra] to get a divorce?
