La La Anthony, Michael Strahan, Fab 5 Freddy, Q-Tip, Attend Nas’ ILLMATIC Premiere
This week, Fab 5 Freddy, Q-Tip, Michael Strahan, Sway, La La Anthony and Tribeca Film hosted the New York Premiere of NAS: TIME IS ILLMATIC, presented by Hennessy V.S at the Museum of Modern Art.
Nas was joined by the evening’s hosts and director/ producer One9, writer/producer Erik Parker, producer Anthony Saleh, his brother Jungle, Tribeca Enterprises’s Jane Rosenthal. Celebrity guests inclued: Busta Rhymes, Pete Rock, Treach of Naughty by Nature, hip hop pioneer Marley Marl, Crazy Legs (from Rock Steady Crew), AZ, Ed Lover, Today Show host Tamron Hall, ABC’s Sade Baderinwa, Orange Is The New Black’s Adrienne C. Moore and others.
Following the screening everyone gathered at the after party at LAVO Nightclub. The film opens this week in select theaters nationwide for special one night only screenings, before becoming available on demand on Friday October 3rd.
