Dr. Cornel West has been arrested. On Monday, the 61-year-old author and political activist was reportedly arrested while participating in the demonstrations in Ferguson, Missouri. Reportedly, he was a part of the “Ferguson October” rally, which has been attended by over 1,000 protesters. Journalists tweeted about his arrest:
