By now you’ve heard the news, Love & Hip Hop Atlanta is giving out pinks slips. As previously reported, the two cast members who have been axed are Benzino and his fiancee Althea Heart.

While Benzino has made it crystal clear he faults both Mona Scott-Young and VH1 for his departure, he also has a bone to pick with K.Michelle. Apparently, K.Michelle made some comments about Benzino’s firing that he wasn’t amused by. In an interview with Wet Paint, she said:

If it’s your time to go, then it’s your time to go… thought Benzino was wilding. I mean, they were boring as s—t to me, so it is what it is.

K. Michelle alluded there was a valid reason for his firing:

I mean, there were other reasons they were let go that I’m not at liberty to say, and he deserved that, to be let go. It was a serious situation.

He posted an interesting response to K.Michelle on his site, Hip Hop Weekly, noting that K.Michelle contributed very little once she left Atlanta for New York and that she is one of Mona’s favorites.

He writes:

The thing with K Michelle is that you don’t want to get into a negative debate with a former cast member especially when the show did record numbers this past season after she left. I have had many successes in the industry for many years, so she has a long way to go before she can say anything about Zino.

Bottom line is the facts are the facts; K Michelle came on the show in season one and made up a story about being beat up, which was a lie, which
