MTV2 Orders Pilot Talk Show ‘Uncommon Sense With Charlamagne’
curates the “loudest” social media topics of the week. Hosted by Charlamagne tha God, the pilot will feature a panel of comedians and social media-inspired packages.
Charlamagne tweeted his excitement about the news, writing:
I had to reup with MTV2 and MTV for a few more years. I value real relationships. A Lot coming down the pipeline!!!
Continuing to build on its record-breaking ratings momentum while growing its pipeline of original comedic content, MTV2 also announced new season pickups for network hits “Nick Cannon Presents: Wild ‘N Out” and “Guy Code,” both of which will air in 2015. The network also greenlit two new comedy series, “MTV2’s Joking Off” and “Number 2 News” (working title).
