Phaedra Parks Explains Skipping Husband Apollo Nida’s Trial: It was apparent the marriage was over.

sailing. I’ve been criticized for not being at Apollo’s hearing, but the truth is I had been there for him in so many ways for such a long time. By the time all of this went down, it was apparent the marriage was over and my focus needed to be exclusively on the wellbeing of our children. I don’t think there’s a parent out there who wouldn’t agree.

She also explains that she wasn’t surprised that Apollo told her that he wanted a divorce.

I have been on such an emotional rollercoaster that there really isn’t anything that would have surprised me. After a while you reach a point where you are so numb that nothing fazes you anymore.

And again, by that point my attention was exclusively on the children’s needs and doing everything I could to minimize the impact of this on their lives. My children’s health and happiness will always be center stage.

While enduring Apollo’s departure and their split, Phaedra maintains that some of her cast members have taken advantage of the situation — saying to so nice things to the public.

NeNe and Porsha have been extremely supportive of me and very attentive throughout this entire ordeal, and for that I am extremely grateful. Unfortunately, some of the others decided to use my personal crisis as an opportunity to further their own interests and talk to the media to get press for themselves. The lack of compassion was, at times, shocking.

P.S. Did you agree with Phaedra’s decision not to attend Apollo’s trial? Should she have been more supportive? [BRAVO]

This really was kind of weird to me! When I looked on my TL, there were so many mixed emotions. Im kind of on the fence with this entire situation. Yes, I feel like she could’ve been there for the trial but I also think she “gut-punched” him by showing him she’s not going to put up with his mess. I also kind of find it a little awkward that she didn’t mention Kandi being supportive of her. I mean I thought they were “ride-or-die” friends but she just mentioned Nene & Porsha. Maybe it was just an oversight but I hope their friendship is not in any jeopardy. Pray things get better for both Apollo & Phaedra! #FixItJesus

She’s not letting Fine Hubby Apollo go because she afraid that Kenya will be his next Boo.

Glad she made the decision that she wanted to make. And not be saddled with that tired”holding your man down”mentality, yes I get that is her husband.I did feel like he couldve got a call from her after the sentencing.A “how are you holding up”would have been a decent gesture to your spouse.Other than that I support what she did.

I aint the one to be speaking on MARRIED folk…however comma…It does seem like Phaedra is just distancing herself from this entire situation..we don’t know what has been going on behind closed doors honey..the cameras aint catch er’thang…Phaedra knows a lot more about ol Apollo than she’ll ever let on..that’s fine with me…chile that’s FED time…85% of the sentence is mandatory…I do hate to see families broken up BUT also understand that children need a functional home to thrive…chile, I just can’t..bye!

We don’t know all that has gone on when the cameras turnoff. I am sure she has endured ALOT that we don’t even know about and may have finally just got fed up with being supportive to a man that continues to make these type pf mistakes. We don’t KNOW the whole story so we can realy JUDGE.
