(EXCLUSIVE) Steve Harvey Show Hit With $43 MILLION DOLLAR Lawsuit Over Music Theft!
In the filed documents, the company explains that during season 2 of his hit show, a total of 268 unlicensed songs were used during the broadcast. Reportedly, We 3 Kinds says that they never agreed to let Harvey or his show use their music catalog and Harvey illegally & without authorization choose to play the songs they own.
The music company filed a federal lawsuit demanding $43 million in damages plus more for each channel that The Steve Harvey Show is syndicated and re-broadcasted on. They claim the damages done by Harvey may lead to all of the execs of the company filing for bankruptcy, due to them now not being able to license the songs to other shows, radio programs and advertisements.
Reportedly, they are also demanding an injunction against Steve Harvey from continuing to illegally use their music. We’ve reached out to Steve Harvey’s team — so far, no response. See the exclusive court docs.
