Columbus Short Admits Cocaine Use During ‘Scandal’: I was self-medicating.
Actor Columbus Short has been plagued with legal drama, since his departure from the ABC series, Scandal. In an interview with Access Hollywood, the 32-year-old comes clean about what he had been dealing with — drug abuse. In fact, he says that while he was on Scandal, he had been abusing drugs and alcohol:
You know, I’m just going to be candid. I was struggling with drugs, you know what I mean? I had a lot on my plate and you know, and I was using unhealthy ways to self-medicate and deal with a lot of heavy-duty stuff in my life.
When asked, What kind of drugs were you doing, Columbus replies:
