(EXCLUSIVE) LHHA Star Stevie J Working On Plea Deal w/ Feds Over $1 Million Unpaid Child Support
According to federal court docs filed in the case, Stevie J makes around $27k a month for his role on “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” and from January – August 2013 he made a total of $193,499 from VH1. He has also reportedly made over $105k in music royalties in the past decade.
Then on December 10th, the feds filed docs in the case stating they are still in settlement talks with Stevie J in an attempt to resolve the case without going to trial. They explain the negotiations are not complete but they believe they will be done within the month, with the agreement deciding whether Stevie J will serve jail time and also exactly how he will be paying back the child support debt.
They asked the court to reschedule a hearing that was to take place this month and postpone it so they finish the plea deal talks. The next hearing is scheduled for January 9th, which the feds state they will most likely have the deal completed for the court. See the exclusive court docs.
