(EXCLUSIVE) Wendy Williams Show Producers Clap Back At Ex-Interns Lawsuit
The ex-intern filed suit on behalf of all former interns on the show and demanded The Wendy Williams Show producers pay them what they are owed.
Then recently, the producers behind The Wendy Williams Show fired back at the ex-intern and the class action lawsuit. They explain that the interns did much more than the jobs listed in the lawsuit. Reportedly, the show says the interns did indeed gain academic and job training in regards to the entertainment field while working on set.
The producers admit they didn’t pay the interns a dime for their work but say they weren’t legally required to since they were interns.
They explain the ex-interns did not suffer any damages from their time with the show and if anything they gained valuable knowledge from The Wendy Williams Show. Show producers are demanding the entire legal battle be thrown out. See the exclusive court docs.
