Could Shonda Rhimes’ ‘Scandal’ Get A Spin-Off?

A recent comment by Shonda Rhimes leaves us wondering if there’s a chance that Scandal may have a spin-off. Recently, Rhimes told The Hollywood Reporter that she’s leaving her options open for a potential B613 spinoff.

For those familiar with the ABC show — starring Kerry Washington — Emmy award winning actor Joe Morton has a recurring role as Rowan Pope, and heads B613, a black-ops organization. And after 4 seasons of the show, Olivia Pope’s (played by Washington) Gladiators have yet to successfully shut down the show.

The showrunner tells the outlet:

I have my own obsessions with B613 that are probably unhealthy. I have like three versions of a B613 spinoff in my head that I obsess about constantly.

If there any chances of an immediate spin-off, they may have to wait for now as Rhimes oversees Scandal, Grey’s Anatomy and How to Get Away With Murder:
