(UPDATE) Iman Shumpert Pissed At ‘Empire’, Claims Show Stole His & Teyana Taylor’s Character

Is imitation REALLY the highest form of flattery?

Absolutely not says NBA baller Iman Shumpert.

The Cleveland Cavaliers player — who dates singer Teyana Taylor — has some serious issues with the popular Fox series, Empire. In fact, he believes that they’re copying and have stolen his and his girlfriends’ likenesses for the show’s characters, Hakeem (played by Bryshere Y. Gray) and Tiana (played by Serayah).

While he admits that he’s yet to see an episode, he’s seen photos of the characters referenced above. Plus, his says that his family and friends find it ironic that his on-screen girlfriend Tiana, resembles him and his girlfriend.

He says:

They’re using my girl’s character, her style, her look and she’s not getting anything for it. They didn’t even change her name. They could have at least let my girl audition for the part instead of stealing her character completely.

it’s obvious that the show based the relationship on chris Brown and Rihanna. He is so thirsty. Chris Brown was accused at one point of messing around wiht his much older manager, Tina (Naomi) and was supposedly the reason h got into that big brawl with Rihanna. And Rihanna has been rumored to be bi, ppl have accused her of being in some sort of relationship with her best friend Melissa, and white women such as Cara Develigne (sp). Hence, Tiana and her messing around with her white BFF. Iman and Teyana, please find the nearest seat…. and… sit.

Iman plays basketball, idk how in the complete hell he even assumed this show was coming for him and teyanna. Why they focusing on this dams show supposedly stealing their identity, they need to worry about teyanna doing so many damn sit ups though, stomach look like a brick wall nshit. that girl is too strong. she prob bench press iman, you see he the one making the public staments n shit like a bih
