(EXCLUSIVE) Ex-NFL Star Vince Young Wins $2 Million From Former Financial Adviser
The battle went on for over a year until Young & Peoples reached a settlement in May 2014. The deal stated Peoples would pay the NFL star a total of $1.3 million with $100k due by September and if he defaulted on any payments, he would then owe Young a total of $2 mill due immediately.
Then earlier this year, Young headed back to Texas Court and filed suit against People for breach of their deal. He explained that Peoples never paid the initial payment of $100k by September and thus was is in default and owed him $2 mill which continues to grow with 5% interest. He sued People for 2 million dollars due IMMEDIATELY due to him breaking their deal.
Then on April 1st, the judge in the case filed docs stating that Young had reached a settlement with People in which he would be paid the full $2 million + interest and also be awarded $2,500 in attorney fees for having to file the lawsuit. The case was closed the same day with the NFL star and People signing off on the agreement. See the exclusive court docs.
