Christina Milian Talks Trusting Lil Wayne + Shades Karrine Steffans: We’re on 2 different levels.
The cats out the bag folks. If you didn’t know of Christina Milian’s new boo, now you know. In a recent interview with The Max, Milian spoke not only about their relationship compatibility, but also about how the industry could have a strain on one if in the limelight. Milian also spoke about trust and how the business works with relationships, but the real juice comes from her thoughts on Wayne’s ex, Karrine Steffans. Check out some excerpts form the interview.
If her and Lil Wayne are complete opposites:
No, we’re actually really much alike and that’s the beautiful thing about it. You don’t just imagine that out the gate. Our similarities are we’re two very passionate people about life, about family, about our hard work, about what we love, about music. He’s a fantastic person and very, very sweet.
On dating celebrities and guys who were not in the limelight:
I’ve even dated guys who are not in the spotlight and it was actually a little more difficult for them to understand my business, my career or even just conversation. It just didn’t really click or something. Or I was the one who was basically the performer in our relationship. And they’re like, “oh cool” but I’m like I’m interested in even the little things you have going on, it doesn’t really matter. But yeah, I tend up ending clicking with entertainers.
On how to cope with celebrity outings and photog:
Because I have the experience in knowing how things are, you know, you could be standing next to anybody, pictures could stay a thousand words. Unless you see the activity going down, at the end of the day for me all I can do is just trust. I put out full trust. And just trust like I said karma is one thing and another thing if you messed around or something nuts what it should be then that’s on you. That’s why I’m open with my trust and I’m okay with that. I’m a understanding woman too. I understand I have as much temptation around me as a celebrity man would.
On how celebrity women do not move like celebrity men:
No, we don’t but if we wanted to we could. You could, the options are there. At the end of the day it’s up to you to be the good person and if you love somebody then your going to go in the right direction.
