So what’s next? Police have given Chris the option to sign off on a misdemeanor battery citation or have the case turned over to the Clark County District Attorney’s office.

Chris has yet to comment publicly, but posted an adorable father-daughter moment with baby Royalty on Instagram.

I honestly never knew I could love someone as strong as I do. I’m gonna give her the world. ????

Update #2: Chris’s publicist, Nicole Perna, released the following statement:

Chris is currently in Las Vegas as he is performing at Drai’s on 5 May and receiving a Key to the Strip that day as well. He has a suite at the hotel that has a basketball court and invited friends to come play. An unruly individual showed up uninvited and was removed from the premises. Chris was not in an altercation with this person.

Update #3. According to reports, the battery charge against Chris has been dropped. Las Vegas police said Tuesday that the man who claimed the star had punched him during a basketball game is dropping out of the criminal case. Case closed.
