(EXCLUSIVE) Darryl Strawberry’s Ex-Wife SHOT DOWN In Attempt To Be Paid $300K In Back Support
theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, Darryl Strawberry’s ex-wife was SHOT DOWN for her attempt to be paid over $300k in back support the baseball legend owes her, with a federal court judge throwing out her claims for a portion of $1.3 million brought in from an auction.
Strawberry was sued by the federal government back in 2012 over massive unpaid tax debt. They demanded that they be allowed to auction off his entire deferred payment plan he made while with the NY Mets.
Back in 1985, Strawberry amended his contract with the Mets to pay a portion of his salary after he retired. The plan currently has over $2 million left to be paid out on the agreement with the baseball legend suppose to be paid around $8,891.82 a month.
