theJasmineBRAND.com exclusively reports, Mariah Carey has reached a confidential settlement with her former assistant – who accused the pop star of violating labor laws by not letting her break and never paying her for over 4,000 overtime hours – this according to newly filed court documents.

Carey was sued by her ex-assistant – a 44-year-old woman named Ylser Oliver – who claimed she worked seven days a week and up to 16 hour days without ever being compensated for her overtime. Oliver worked for Mariah from May 2007 – June 2014, when she finally quit.

Oliver also accused the singer of not providing her with meal breaks, despite having worked a total of 7 years for Carey.
