Karrine Steffans Talks New Memoir, Fallout With Bow Wow & Blames Christina Milian For Lil Wayne’s Lackluster Music [VIDEO]

This week, Karrine Steffans took her talents to Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning. The 36-year-old former video vixen is promoting her 7th book, Vindicated: Confessions of a Video Vixen, Ten Years Later. During the interview Karrine shared the inspiration behind the book, but also revealed more details about her on-again, off-again situationship with rapper Lil Wayne. Karrine admits that she’s no longer a fan of some of Wayne’s new music and points the finger at his new girlfriend, Christina Milian. Karrine also dispelled the notion that ‘Superhead’ assisted her with branding whom she is today. She also spills a little tea on why she fell out with Shad Moss (Bow Wow) and why she refuses to give up on love after three marriages.

If she will continue to marry, after being married 3 times:

I will continue to get married for as long as I need to….When I see my first red flag, I just leave no matter what the circumstance is. And that red flag has to be serious.

Her relationship status with Lil Wayne:

Currently, we’re good. That’s my friend. I consider him a friend for life. Love him always.

The last time she’s been intimate with Wayne:

No, I haven’t hit that since after Christina did that really horrible, they had that ‘Fire’ thing and that was so bad. And I think he felt low after that…

Why Wayne’s current music hasn’t reached it’s potential: 

It’s important that we pair ourselves with the right people. When I was with Wayne, I wrote my best stuff…When he was with me, he wrote his best stuff..When we surround ourselves with like bums, like losers or like has-beens, or people that are not hot, then our art becomes not hot….I don’t want you to be hanging out with not hot people and hanging out with me too….The formula has gotten mixed up somewhere.
