Jordin Sparks, Deborah Cox, Chrisette Michele Perform At BET’s Music Matters [Photos]
Over the weekend, the BET Experience at L.A. Live presented by Coca-Cola Kick-Off Concert started the BET Experience off with a bang. Fans and music lovers celebrated the upcoming BET Experience with performances from Jordin Sparks, Deborah Cox and Chrisette Michele, hosted by 102.3 KJLH’s DJ Malski.
The official pre-event show took place at LA’s Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Outdoor Promenade. Grammy award-winning artist Chrisette Michele kicked off the day with hits including “Epiphany,” “A Couple of Forevers,” and “Blame It On Me.”
Next up was multi-award winning artist and actress Jordin Sparks who belted out hits from “One Step,” to “Battlefield,” as the crowd sang along, wrapping her set with “No Air.” Sparks also got down to a crowd pleasing performance of her latest hit, “Double Tap,” which also features rapper 2 Chainz.
R&B-dance diva Deborah Cox’s showcased her powerful vocals performing crowd favorites including “We Can’t Be Friends” and “Just Be Good To Me.” She wrapped the day’s festivities with her chart topping hit, “Nobody’s Supposed To Be.”
