Naturi Naughton Recalls Being Kicked Out Of 3LW + Omari Hardwick Says Wife Unbothered by Sexy Role On ‘Power’ [VIDEO]

Omari Hardwick and Naturi Naughton stopped by The Wendy Williams Show to dish about the second season of their hit Starz show Power and weighed in on 50 Cent’s comments that their show Power paved the way for Empire. Plus, Naturi talked about how she was kicked out of 3LW and if she still talks to Adrienne Bailon or Kiely Williams.

While talking about 50 Cent’s comments comparing their show Power with FOX’s Empire, Naturi said, “You know 50 is very outspoken. All I say is at the end of the day I respect that, you know how that hip-hop competition is. Its like battling, we battle but at the end of the day Empire is a whole different lane, we’re in a different lane. We’re on cable premium, they’re on FOX, it’s so different.” Wendy added, “I like both shows, I think there is room for both.”

Omari agreed, “I think whenever you see a show full of brown people and you have Lee Daniels at the helm, Courtney Kemp Agboh and 50 at the helm, and then you know, it’s the rags to riches story. Lucious is rags to riches, Ghost is rags to riches. I understand the comparison. I agree with you, there’s room for two!”

While there are similarities between Naturi’s character Tasha on Power and Taraji P. Henson’s character Cookie on Empire, she assured everyone that there is so feud. “I met Taraji on the ABFF carpet. I’ve been a fan of hers, she’s just wonderful. She tuned around and said, ‘Hey baby’ and gave me a hug. She’s really cool and the whole Tasha versus Cookie, who’s beating each other down. We sisters, we all love,” said Nature. Wendy jumped in, “It’s TV, no one is fighting everyone, it’s just a show!”
