Through the years I’ve experienced a wide variety of inspiring stories. I’ve met women who used the pageant to help fund their education. I got to know winners like Miss Universe Leila Lopes who used the platform to bring so much positive attention to emerging countries like Angola. There are countless stories of real women working hard to impact social change. My entire career has been driven by my inspiration to celebrate women and their potential. I hope everyone can transcend this controversy so we don’t lose sight of that. As long as there is one woman standing there on that stage, I intend to be standing there beside her.

This pageant helps to keep him a billionaire. Do you think he does it out of the kindness of his black heart? No, he gets paid off sponsorships and advertisement. He makes a lot more money off the pageant than these women ever will. And if you think beauty pageants are the way to give women a platform on important political and educational issues then I have a bridge in London that I’d love to sell you.

I don’t know why it’s so hard for broke people to understand that! Truly wealthy people do not become wealthy through work (not anymore anyway). They become so through making smart investments. The apprentice may have made him some money when he needed it but it was the investment of that money that made him billions! The only person hurt by NBC, and Telemundo not airing that pageant are the contestants themselves. (and PS he did find someone else to air the pageant in no time flat and probably at a much better deal!) It is you who seems to be ignorant! You are ignorant because you have no idea just how many former beauty queens are now Journalists (Diane Sawyer), actresses,(Hale Berry, Vanessa Williams, The white chick that’s going to play super girl a former Ms. Israel, etc), and so on. It’s about exposure for the women! That’s why he hasn’t lost any actual sponsors for the pageant and that’s why it is still going to be aired! You want to stop Donald Trump register vote, participate in a voter registration drive, and do not vote for any of the republicans who PS don’t seem to have any problems with what he said according to the latest polls (also non of them came out against him for a whole week and Jeb Bush is MARRIED to a Mexican woman!)

Obviously you do not follow politics much. When people were questioning the president’s nationality there was outrage. It was shut down because John McCain the opposing candidate stopped it. So when you make a statement like that check your facts first.
