Basketball Wives LA’s Mehgan James Talks Beef With Draya Michele: She doesn’t like competition.
On K.Michelle confronting Draya on TV about calling her ugly:
Yasss K. Michelle!! She [K. Michelle] doesn’t [bite her tongue], and I love that about her. I really appreciate authenticity – there’s not a lot of that in Hollywood at all, and I love real people. And I feel like K. Michelle was all the way right for putting Draya in her place, and I would’ve done the same thing. I just feel like Draya always attacks other women’s looks and their weight, ’cause you know this season, Draya calls me fat. And I feel like she has a lot of insecurities within herself because you should never have to cut down someone else to make you feel better about yourself.
On her storyline this season:
I just feel like my storyline this season…I’ll show a lot of growth. I feel like a lot of people will watch the show – of course I’m going to bring ratings from my ‘Bad Girls Club’ fans. I feel like people are going to see me grow into a young woman. You know I start off really timid, and I don’t know anyone. Then it continues on to me actually polishing myself up a little bit. Along with all the drama that comes with it.
The fourth season, premiere on July 12 on VH1. Click here to read Mehgan’s full interview.
