Jeezy Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Private Dinner, Community Event: Ludacris, Monica, Big Boi, Will Packer Spotted [Photos]
Over the weekend, a few famous Atlanta celebs helped celebrate Jeezy’s 10th anniversary of his major label debut, Thug Motivation 101, as well as the relaunch of his charity, Street Dreamz Foundation. Friday night kicked off with a dinner at 103 West where guests listened to everyone from Usher and Ne-Yo to the Mayor of Atlanta, Kasim Reed and Ludacris talk about what Jeezy has done for music and his community. Other celebrity guests included Monica, Big Boi, Will Packer, Johnta Austin and others.
Jeezy was awarded with the Phoenix Award from the city of Atlanta, (the highest honor you can receive that is very much like having the key to the city) by Mayor Kasim Reed for all that he has done and continues to do in Atlanta.
The celebration continued Saturday morning when Jeezy partnered with Councilmember Cleta Winslow to host a neighborhood clean up for District 4 of Atlanta. Many volunteers came out to help clean up and to meet Jeezy.
Saturday night, Jeezy has a one night only show at the Fox Theatre where he will perform Thug Motivation 101 in its entirety.
